The Founder Who Took on Injustice — and Built a Worldwide Sports Network: Dmitry Saksonov

There are turning points in life that redefine a person forever. For Dmitry Saksonov, that turning point arrived not through achievement, but through injustice — sudden, public, and carefully engineered. What followed was not a story of revenge or retreat, but of reinvention. It is the story of a man who refused to be shaped by what happened to him and instead built something powerful enough to reshape the world around him.

Today, Blockchain Sports operates across continents, developing athletes, building technology, and connecting millions of fans. But its true origin lies in the moment Saksonov realized that if the system could dismantle his life so easily, then countless young athletes trapped in broken systems had no chance at all.

When the System Failed Him

In 2018, Saksonov’s life collapsed with brutal speed. A thriving crypto-mining business was suddenly targeted. People he trusted orchestrated a fabricated case to seize control of his assets. Accounts were frozen. Operations halted. His world shrank to a detention cell where time moved slowly, clarity arrived painfully, and the truth stood in contrast to everything he was accused of.

He spent more than two years in pre-trial detention — not convicted, not sentenced, simply suspended inside a system that offered neither closure nor justice. Many would have emerged angry or broken. Instead, he walked out with something stronger than anger:

Conviction.

Rebuilding From Zero

When Saksonov returned to life in 2020, he had no capital, no structure, no support system. But he had discipline — the one thing that had survived everything.

He rebuilt from zero the way only someone who has lost everything can. There were no shortcuts. Just hours of focused work, borrowed equipment, and an inner certainty that purpose often grows fastest after the ground has been cleared.

He rebuilt not to prove a point, but because adversity had shown him how many people live their entire lives inside systems stacked against them.

A Moment in Brazil That Changed His Direction

In 2022, he found himself in Rio de Janeiro, walking through communities where football wasn’t entertainment — it was survival. Children played on broken ground with world-class talent, yet the world would never see them.

It was a different injustice. Not targeted, but systemic. A community leader told him, “Talent is everywhere. Opportunity isn’t.”

Saksonov funded and built them a proper football field — not for publicity, but because he understood exactly what the absence of infrastructure can do to a person’s future. He had lived his own version of it.

When the field was completed and he saw the reaction of the children who finally had a place to grow, he felt something he hadn’t felt in years: purpose. At that moment, Blockchain Sports was no longer an idea. It became a responsibility.

Building a System for Those Without One

The injustice he endured taught him a simple truth: systems decide futures. When systems fail, talent is wasted and potential disappears.

So he built a new system.

He built academies with IoT tracking so talent could be measured, not overlooked.

He built AI tools so potential could be evaluated, not guessed.

He built a Layer-1 blockchain so opportunity could be transparent, not hidden.

He built the Blockchain Sports Arena so fans could participate, not just watch.

Step by step, the network expanded — not as a business, but as a correction to everything he lived through and everything he refused to accept.

A Founder Forged by Fire

People look at Blockchain Sports today and see a global success story. But success was never the goal. The goal was fairness, access, and a world where talent is seen regardless of geography or circumstance.

That mission was born from injustice. And the network continues to expand because it was built by someone who knows exactly what it feels like to fight without a system behind him.

Dmitry Saksonov didn’t just build Blockchain Sports.

He built the system he wished existed when the world was against him.
