Timed to celebrate the brand’s 25th anniversary, the immersive showcase transforms whisky storytelling into a visual, sensory, and intellectual experience that blurs the line between fine art, design, and liquid alchemy.

Now open through January 4, 2026, the exhibition invites visitors to step inside the imaginative universe that has defined Compass Box for a quarter century. Known globally for pushing boundaries in both whisky-making and visual identity, Compass Box brings its most iconic artistic collaborations to life inside the walls of one of Miami Beach’s most respected cultural institutions.

Imaginarium is more than a retrospective—it is a deep dive into the creative process behind one of the most visually distinctive spirits brands in the world. Developed in collaboration with the celebrated design studio Stranger & Stranger, the exhibition showcases rare labels, never-before-seen sketches, original artworks, and intimate handwritten notes that trace the evolution of Compass Box from visionary startup to global icon.

Each display reveals how illustration, typography, and narrative have played as vital a role as blending and maturation. From early conceptual drawings to finished bottle designs, the exhibition captures the moment where imagination meets craftsmanship. Visitors encounter the visual DNA behind beloved releases such as The Entertainer, Brûlée Royale, Canvas, Rogue’s Banquet, Phenomenology, and the renowned Hedonism series—each bottle telling its own story through art as much as through flavor.

The exhibition officially opened on December 3 with a private preview attended by more than 200 guests, including collectors, creatives, and industry insiders. Supporting The Wolfsonian Through a Special Bonhams Auction

Extending the celebration beyond the gallery walls, Compass Box has partnered with esteemed auction house Bonhams to support The Wolfsonian-FIU directly. Eight exclusive auction lots are being offered online, with all proceeds benefiting the museum. Among the highlights is Confluence, a singular, one-of-one blended whisky created by Compass Box’s new Creative Director of Whiskymaking, Angela D’Orazio.

The rare blend combines Scotch and Swedish whiskies as a personal nod to D’Orazio’s heritage, presented in a hand-painted bottle that embodies the spirit of the exhibition itself. The auction runs from November 25 through December 10, offering collectors a rare chance to acquire archival releases while supporting one of Miami Beach’s leading cultural institutions.
