The sun-soaked spirit of Montauk is officially heading south. This December, nightlife visionary Jayma Cardoso, the force behind The Surf Lodge’s legendary summer programming, teams up with Palm Tree Crew to launch Surf Lodge Sundays at Palm Tree Club Miami—introducing a weekly concert series that blends East Coast coastal cool with Miami’s electric cultural pulse.

Debuting during Art Basel on December 7, the inaugural Surf Lodge Sundays will feature a headline performance by Rampa, the acclaimed German DJ and producer and co-founder of Berlin’s influential Keinemusik collective. The moment marks not only a high-profile Art Basel event, but also a meaningful evolution for two brands deeply rooted in music, community, and destination-driven experiences.

A Montauk Tradition Finds a New Home on Biscayne Bay
For years, Surf Lodge Sundays has been synonymous with effortless summer energy in Montauk—where live music, sunset views, and an unpretentious yet stylish crowd converge. Known for its relaxed coastal charm and unforgettable performances, the series has become a defining ritual of Hamptons summers.

Now, that same DNA is being reimagined on Biscayne Bay. At Palm Tree Club Miami, Surf Lodge Sundays will channel Montauk’s laid-back elegance while embracing Miami’s bold, global rhythm. The result is a weekly gathering designed to feel familiar yet entirely new—sun-drenched by day, magnetic by night, and always anchored in music.

The collaboration also represents Jayma Cardoso’s first major project since relocating to Miami, making the partnership feel both timely and personal. It’s a natural next chapter that reflects her ongoing ability to read cultural shifts and translate them into experiences people want to be part of.
“We’re thrilled to bring Surf Lodge Sundays to Miami with our friends at Palm Tree Crew,” said Cardoso. “Miami and New York are so intertwined, and as a former New Yorker who recently moved to Miami, now feels like the perfect time to further unite these communities that share a love for gathering together to celebrate music and unforgettable experiences.”

Palm Tree Club Miami: A New Epicenter for Music and Culture
Since opening in December 2024, Palm Tree Club Miami has rapidly established itself as one of the city’s premier day-to-night destinations. Set along the water on Biscayne Bay, the venue merges world-class music, elevated hospitality, and thoughtful design—creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and international.
The arrival of Surf Lodge Sundays infuses the space with a distinctly Montauk sensibility: relaxed, stylish, and slightly unexpected. It’s a seamless fit for Palm Tree Crew, whose global footprint has been built on curating experiences that transcend traditional nightlife.
“The Surf Lodge has always been synonymous with effortless summer energy,” said Myles Shear, Co-Founder of Palm Tree Crew. “It’s an exciting opportunity to create something new together, while staying true to what makes both our brands so special.”

Art Basel Kickoff and a Season-Long Series
Launching during Art Basel—a week when Miami becomes the epicenter of global art, music, and fashion—Surf Lodge Sundays is poised to attract an international crowd of tastemakers, creatives, and music lovers. Rampa’s headline set sets the tone for what’s to come: genre-defying performances in a setting that prioritizes atmosphere as much as sound.
Following the Art Basel debut, Surf Lodge Sundays will continue throughout the winter season, with additional artists and performances to be announced. The weekly series is designed to evolve organically, reflecting the shared ethos of both brands—where music, setting, and community are equally important.
