Abby Baffoe is Crushing the Fashion Collaboration Game

A Chicago girl turned New York City socialite, Abby Baffoe is making big moves in the fashion and beauty scene. While her viral hair tutorials have helped catapult her to fame, she now has become a mainstay for those looking for beauty tips, fashion advice, and even cooking content. With a few recent brand collaborations—Solibeech and Boohoo to name two—she is constantly looking to innovate in the fashion space. We spoke to the content creator to learn more about her journey to where she is today, her collaborations, and beyond.
Haute Living: How did you first get into fashion and beauty content creation?
Abby Baffoe: Honestly, creating content has always been a hobby of mine. I was that girl posting like an influencer in college when I had no followers. I wrote for an online magazine for the college campus, so I was always sharing fashion trends, beauty favorites, etc. I continued this after college a bit but it didn’t fully take off until quarantine when I had a lot more time to create!

HL: Talk to us about your collaboration with Solibeech. What inspired it?
AB: The story behind this is actually really cute. The owner of Solibeech flew in from Chicago to NYC for my latte launch to pitch me the idea of doing an Abby Baffoe collection. I was immediately on board- I loved the design (my dog, nyc taxi, sleep mask, etc) and it felt super fitting with my content. I am always making night and morning vlogs, showing my dog, doing beauty hacks, and putting on pajamas! So it was a no brainer.
HL: And we’ve also seen your recent collaboration with Boohoo. How did this come to be?
AB: Boohoo approached my team and we were beyond excited. I have always loved boohoo and their selection of adorable trendy items at an affordable price. We did some work together during fashion week and the relationship just blossomed! It truly was such a dream come true.

HL: Who is your dream fashion or beauty collaboration with?
AB: I really have been blessed to work with most of the brands I love and use everyday. Some that would be a dream to work with that I haven’t yet would be CSB (crop shop boutique), Oribe, Eberjey, Rhode…there’s honestly so many!
HL: How are you dressing for the holidays? Give me a full look—beauty, fashion, accessories—for a holiday party (3-5 links).
AB: Micro mini leather shorts, bows, feathers, fringe, sparkles, matching tweed sets… you can have so much fun with holiday outfits and I love the glam of it all! He are some things I’ve been loving:
