Something Wicked this way comes… and it makes being bad taste oh so good. That would be Defying Gravity, a cocktail found at The Times Square EDITION in honor of the upcoming Friday release of Wicked: For Good that would make Elephaba proud (and it’s green to boot!).

According to Kevin McGuire, the beverage manager at The Times Square EDITION, “We set out to create luxurious, great-tasting cocktails that honor both the film and the musical — featuring bold colors, striking presentation, and a touch of table-side magic. Each drink delivers an element of surprise through theatrical visual moments like floating orbs, color-shifting pours, and sensory details that make the experience truly special.”
How to Make the Defying Gravity

2 oz. Johnnie Walker Blue
2 oz. Jazmine/Citrus Mint Tea
.5 Lemon
.5 Honey
5 Mint Leaves
5 grams of Chopped Lemongrass
(Clarified. 24-hour Infusion)
Glass: Smooth Rocks Glass
Ice: Large Rock with Half Sphere
Garnish: Sencha Mint Tea and Jelly

Defying Gravity, and its sister cocktail, For Good, will be available at the hotel’s Lobby Bar now through November 30.
