Haute Living & AMAFFI Celebrate Karl-Anthony Towns

Last Saturday, Haute Living hosted an intimate celebration in honor of its New York cover star, NBA All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns, at AMAFFI Perfume House in Manhattan.

The evening unfolded inside AMAFFI’s opulent boutique, where gilded finishes, crystal chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling displays of the brand’s rare fragrances set the tone for an unforgettable night. Guests were greeted with glasses of Ruinart Champagne and specialty cocktails featuring Cincoro Tequila as they mingled and explored the perfumer’s exquisite creations.

The culinary offerings matched the elegance of the setting, with passed hors d’oeuvres including poached lobster with squid ink “chicharone,” avocado, and pickled chili; chicken schnitzel with red cabbage and Dijon; crispy truffle duck confit with sweet-and-sour orange purée; falafel with tzatziki and pickled vegetables; and blinis topped with caviar and crème fraîche.

Towns, who graces Haute Living’s latest New York cover in a story aptly titled “The Alchemist,” arrived alongside his girlfriend, Jordyn Woods. The couple was seen sampling AMAFFI signature scents and chatting with guests, bringing warmth and ease to the glamorous evening.

The celebration served as both a toast to Towns’ remarkable year — marked by his transformative move to the New York Knicks and continued philanthropic work — and a reflection of the duality that defines him: the powerhouse athlete and the man behind the mindset.
