Haute Living Celebrates Lennox Lewis’ Milestone Birthday In Miami

On September 2, Haute Living celebrates legendary heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis’ 60th birthday with an exclusive omakase celebration at Uchiko Miami Beach.

The evening brought together a select circle of friends, family, and notable attendees, including Rohan Marley, owner of Lion Order and Chairman of Marley Coffee, Nico Marley, a talented former football linebacker, Nitin Khanna, co-founder of El Cristiano Tequila, Kali Mata Investments, and Saber Corp, and chairman of MergerTech alongside Kamal Hotchandani, CEO and founder of Haute Media Group, April Donelson, Managing Director at Haute Media Group, and more.

Gathering in the sleek, contemporary setting of Uchiko’s private dining room, guests raised a glass to the champion athlete alongside an innovative omakase menu.

Uchiko Miami Beach presented its signature omakase through a progression of standout courses. Cool tastings set the tone, with the hama chili emerging as a guest favorite for its perfect balance of brightness and heat. From the “Hearth” section, smoky, char-driven plates showcased Uchiko’s mastery of fire, including Denver steak and nasu nigiri. The nigiri courses featured delicate selections, including madai, maguro, and avocado. Crisp bites from the tempura section included green beans, followed by vegetable highlights like Brussels sprouts, sunomono, and grilled shishito peppers. Hot tastings brought comforting depth with shrimp karaage, suzuki yaki, and chicken karaage, complemented by rolls such as spicy crunchy salmon, crispy rice, and veggie crunchy. Desserts offered playful finales, with standouts including a cheesecake topped with strawberry umeboshi jam and Uchiko’s signature “milk and cereal” with fried milk and toasted milk ice cream.
