Gucci Spring Sumer 2026: La Famiglia
Gucci’s Spring 2026 collection, La Famiglia, signals the start of Demna’s tenure at the house. It balances irreverence with heritage and delivers it all with a theatrical edge. Instead of a runway debut, the house presented the collection as a striking lookbook, shot by fine-art photographer Catherine Opie, who cast Gucci as a family of personalities, each defined by attitude as much as style.

Some portraits radiate pure indulgence: Miss Aperitivo revels in sequins, while La Bomba channels feline energy. Others lean into timeless elegance, from La Mecenate and La Contessa to La Principessa, each a study in Italian refinement. L’Incazzata, meanwhile, arrives in a scarlet coat that feels more glamorous than furious, and L’Archetipo ties everything back to Gucci’s Florentine roots with a newly imagined trunk. In contrast, L’Influencer captures fashion’s digital pulse, bringing the family album firmly into the present.
That push-and-pull carries into the clothes. Feathered opera coats brush up against body-skimming hosiery pieces. Menswear takes cues from eveningwear, with sheer tailoring and even black-tie swimwear. House signatures return with fresh perspective: the Bamboo 1947 bag resized for today, the Horsebit loafer reasserting its permanence, the Flora motif seen in both its iconic form and a nocturnal twist. And the GG monogram is worn with fearless abandon.
With La Famiglia, Demna doesn’t just look back—he lays down a framework for what’s ahead, building momentum toward his first Gucci runway in February.
