Pharrell Unveils New Buttersoft Sneaker For Louis Vuitton With Campaign Starring Callum Turner
Louis Vuitton has introduced the must-have footwear from the season with the LV Buttersoft Sneaker created by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams and showcased as part of the Fall/Winter 2025 collection.

Williams taps into the House’s streetwear codes and fuses it with his signature dandy style to create the sneaker that’s available in twenty-four variations. House ambassador and actor Callum Turner stars in the shoe’s campaign featuring a series of portraits showcasing the British star’s charismatic artistic flair with the Buttersoft Sneaker’s characteristic expression.

The LV Buttersoft Sneaker gets its name from the exceptional buttery leather that the shoe is designed from. This material embodies the House’s signature savoir-faire and amplified attention to detail at the core of its construction. With a versatile form, the twenty-four versions of the runners debut in a plethora of colorways and compositions from deep nuances to light pastels. Additional versions are adorned with the Louis Vuitton Monogram. The shoes features a LV logo on the side of the upper and a Phriendship silhouette of Williams’ face on the tongue.

Imbued with heightened craftsmanship and confection, the new shoes serve as an expression of dandyism that serves as a main source of inspiration for Louis Vuitton’s Studio Prêt-à-Porter Homme. The Buttersoft Sneaker seamlessly blends the comfort of a runner with the elevated quality of a formal shoe in this new, versatile form. Crafted by Louis Vuitton’s Italian artisans, the sneaker is structured in super soft, buttery leather, giving it a pillow-y effect and set on a rubber sole. The shoes are finished with enriching details informed by the House’s leather goods, like engraved patches, while others are embellished with hand-painted new Brunini edges.
