Released in late June, Clase Azul Tequila Blanco Ahumado is a tequila crafted in Los Altos de Jalisco using ancestral methods, combining blue agave cooked in a traditional pit oven with volcanic rocks and firewood, fermented with proprietary yeast, and double distilled in custom copper stills, resulting in a smoky expression with notes of smoked agave, plum, apple, and a silky, mineral finish. Its unique decanter, featuring semi-opaque glass, a textured dark ceramic base, and copper-colored cap and emblem, reflects the traditional cooking and distillation processes.

Enjoy Clase Azul’s newest Icon, Clase Azul Tequila Blanco Ahumado, at home either neat or in the delicious A Ballad of Fire Cocktail.

To make a cocktail with Clase Azul Tequila Blanco Ahumado, combine 1.5 ounces of the tequila, 1 ounce of plum-agave syrup, 0.5 ounces of Lillet Aperitif, 0.75 ounces of lemon juice, and 3 dashes of Fee Brothers Plum Bitters in a shaker. Shake the mixture well, double-strain it into a chilled glass, and serve it up garnished with a dehydrated red apple slice.

A first-of-its-kind dining concept in Beverly Hills, answering a long-overdue craving for elevated coastal Mexican cuisine in a vibrant, design-forward setting. Meaning “The Wave” in Spanish, La OLA draws inspiration from Mexico’s Pacific coast, channeling its bold flavors, regional traditions, and laid-back spirit through every detail.
