Our cocktail of the week is The Stranger—a bold, unexpected mix representative of Camus that defies tradition from Bleau Bar in Las Vegas.

Head to Sin City’s newest and most luxurious casino, the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, for some prime cocktails, including our latest pick for Cocktail of the Week: The Stranger: This split spirit pisco sour style with ube is loosely based on Albert Camus’ “The Stranger” — an artistic sleight of hand that would make the complexities of a man’s life appear simple. The “simplicity” of the text is merely apparent and everywhere paradoxical. And that is conveyed in this lovely libation, whose base is gin. [As a side bar, Bleau Bar, the gorgeous focal point of the Fontainebleau Las Vegas — one of its 36 F&B concepts — is a great place to meet strangers. So consider this the best kind of double entendre.]
