Haute Living Executive Q&A with Silvina Moschini, CEO & Unicorn Hunter In Chief

Executive Q&A By Duggan Flanakin
Silvina, as one of the visionaries behind Unicoin, you’ve reimagined the future of wealth creation through transparency and innovation. What inspired you to create a cryptocurrency that bridges the gap between stability and opportunity?
Silvina Moschini:
Entrepreneurs see problems as opportunities.
When we started Unicoin, we recognized the revolutionary potential of blockchain and crypto, but we also saw the issues — anonymity, lack of regulation, and associations with fraud.
Crypto’s origins were murky, often aimed at avoiding oversight. But we believed the same technology could be used for good — to democratize access to investment opportunities.
Unicoin was built to be accessible, transparent, and accountable — particularly appealing to communities that are traditionally underserved, including women. We chose the regulatory route from the start, incorporating in the U.S. and adhering to the highest standards of compliance. That came with a significant price tag — nearly $10 million in audited financials and public reporting for three years — but it gave us credibility.
Now, we proudly call Unicoin a “Made in America” crypto — transparent, impactful, and designed not just to create wealth but to give back. Through initiatives like Crypto for Good and our Unicorn Hunters platform, we’re accelerating innovation and solving real-world problems while offering investors something meaningful.
You’ve built a career empowering women globally through both capital and community. How are you helping to close the gender wealth gap in the digital age?
Silvina Moschini:
Great question, and one close to my heart.
Supporting women has never been about exclusion — it’s about inclusion.
Women are highly educated, and they want to work alongside men to create a better society. And right now, a massive wealth transfer is happening, from baby boomers to women — potentially $8 trillion.
But access to capital is just one part of it. The next step is education — understanding how to manage and grow that wealth. That’s why we’re launching Escuela de Inversionistas — a financial literacy school for women — here in April, during Financial Literacy Month.
We’re also building platforms to help female entrepreneurs scale. Through Unicorn Hunters, we connect women-led startups with global markets, investors, and advisors.
And we are even integrating AI to match founders with strategic backers — creating a brokerage of meaningful, high-impact connections.
It’s all about giving women the tools to participate confidently in the capital markets — because with knowledge comes power, and with power comes freedom.
How many women are actually entering these fields now? Are they taking advantage of these opportunities?
Silvina Moschini:
Absolutely they are — and the numbers are growing.
In Mexico, 34% of crypto holders are women. While the amounts may be modest, women are starting to dip their toes into crypto as a second investment asset after fiat.
Women today earn the majority of advanced degrees — they’re educated, earning, and ready. The missing piece has been financial literacy.
Historically, society wasn’t kind to the idea of women controlling wealth or financial decisions. But that’s changing — thanks in part to pop culture.
Icons like Shakira and Karol G have shifted the narrative — women don’t cry; they make money.
Culturally, younger generations are redefining roles and expectations. Men aren’t expected to carry the financial burden alone anymore, and women are stepping up.
The trend is undeniable — and unstoppable.
Luxury is often defined as freedom — of time, of choice, of purpose. How has entrepreneurship enabled you to create a life of intentional luxury?
Silvina Moschini:
That’s a beautiful way to frame it. I once had a mentor who told me, “True success is being happy” – That stuck with me.
For me, luxury isn’t about material things. It’s about purpose — knowing that what I do creates impact.
If I can empower women and entrepreneurs to achieve financial independence, that’s my luxury. It means someone can leave a bad relationship, secure a future for their children, or pursue their dreams.
Money is ultimately a tool. What you do with it — how you use it to shape your life and others’ — that’s what defines luxury and legacy.
You’ve been dubbed the “Latina of Silicon Valley.” In an industry criticized for its lack of diversity, what does that title mean to you, and how are you using your platform to open doors?
Silvina Moschini:
I’ve heard that title, and while I’m flattered, what really matters is being a role model.
You can’t be what you can’t see. Young girls, especially from underrepresented backgrounds, need to see people like them succeeding in tech and finance.
I’ve never fit the mold — I’m a woman, Latina, fashionable, and I run hardcore tech companies. That can throw some people off, especially investors in Silicon Valley.
But results speak louder than labels.
We’ve built our own model — one that doesn’t rely on fitting into someone else’s blueprint.
Instead, we’re showing others, especially women, that they can lead, scale, and succeed on their terms.
Talent has no gender. Execution matters more than optics.
What do you hope the next generation of women entrepreneurs will learn from your journey?
Silvina Moschini:
That success doesn’t have to look one certain way.
I’m building bridges between generations — from baby entrepreneurs, like my five-year-old niece, to Gen Z founders and seasoned veterans.
We’re launching a Mini Advisory Board made up of girls under 10 who are already launching ventures.
These children are truly digital natives. They intuitively understand platforms, content, communities — and they’re turning that into real businesses. I’m learning just as much from them as they might from me.
My hope is that I can be the bridge — helping the next generation connect legacy wisdom with digital-era agility.
With Unicoin and Unicorn Hunters, we’re building an ecosystem where impact, community, and capital converge — for everyone.
You’ve created a U.S.-regulated coin that anyone globally can access. Why should people in regions abroad choose Unicoin as a standard?
Silvina Moschini:
Because trust matters — especially in finance.
The U.S. has been the gold standard for regulation. When people hear “Made in America,” they know they’re dealing with quality, transparency, and accountability.
Unicoin is a fully compliant, SEC-reporting company. That’s why we’ve already secured over $4 billion in asset swap agreements — real estate, equity in high-growth companies, and more. That wouldn’t be possible if we were registered in some offshore tax haven.
People from around the world can invest with confidence. Whether you’re in Africa, Latin America, or anywhere else, Unicoin offers a clear value: high standards, real assets, full transparency.
That’s the difference. That’s the future.
