Haute Living Celebrates New York Times Best-Selling Author Loren Ridinger In Miami

On March 6, Haute Living celebrated New York Times best-selling author Loren Ridinger with an exclusive book signing of her newly released memoir Scrambled or Sunny-Side Up? Living Your Best Life After Losing Your Greatest Love at Sofia Miami Design District.

Ridinger’s book is a powerful story of love, loss, and resilience. Alongside her husband, JR Ridinger, she helped build Market America, empowering thousands through online entrepreneurship. But after 36 years together, JR’s sudden passing left her to navigate profound grief while preserving their legacy.

In this heartfelt book, Loren shares how she transformed loss into growth, proving that even when a person faces adversity, each day holds the potential for reinvention. More than a memoir, it’s a guide to finding purpose, impact, and joy beyond grief.

During the celebratory evening, Loren Ridinger was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation from the City of Miami Beach, presented by Commissioner Alex Fernandez. The award recognized the book’s monumental debuting on The New York Times Best-Sellers List within its first week.

The private soirée welcomed a distinguished guest list, including Larsa Pippen, Rohan Marley, Emilio Estefan, Alejandro Sanz, Cliff Floyd, Commissioner Alex Fernandez, Craig Robbins, and Terrence J. alongside Kamal Hotchandani, CEO of Haute Media Group, Seth Semilof, publisher and COO of Haute Media Group, April Donelson, Senior Vice President of Haute Media Group.

The celebration also featured a special presentation of three exclusive art pieces gifted to Ridinger by Art by Apologetic, Vic Garcia, and Bradley Theodore. Each piece symbolizes resilience, transformation, and empowerment.

Throughout the evening, guests indulged in a selection of exquisitely crafted canapés and signature cocktails curated for the occasion, including savory bites such as Prime New York skewers with sunchoke, gremolata, Saffron Arancini with Aged carnaroli rice, parmigiana, and fontina and octopus skewers with Romesco sauce, crispy olives, and nduja dressing.

Guests delighted in signature, flavorful cocktails such as the ‘Appassionata’ infused with Grey Goose vodka, Aperol, rose syrup, passion fruit, Amaro Nonino, and lime, the ‘Love Affair’ made with Patrón tequila, pisco, passion fruit, lemon, orgeat, chili tincture, and foam, and the ‘Speziata’ concocted with Patrón Reposado tequila, framboise liqueur, lime, agave, chili tincture, and Torresella Prosecco.
