Amplifying Untold Stories and Celebrating Diversity in the Arts

Film producer, author, and businesswoman Taylor Re Lynn is dedicated to bringing untold stories to a broader audience. As named in Entrepreneur for 2022, the New York-based Top 10 notable “culturepreneur” is building a brand putting diversity and inclusivity front and center.

Centering Diverse Voices

As the Editor-in-Chief of Cultured Focus Magazine, Lynn created the platform to give a voice to the voiceless while elevating artists across film, music, writing, and more. As an author and publisher, Lynn highlights artists and change-makers across numerous fields in their own voices and unique perspectives.

To support this strategic goal, Cultured Focus Magazine has been a media partner for the Women in Cinema Awards (WICA) during the Venice Film Festival, France Modest Fashion Week, the Publicist Recognition Brunch 2023 (Los Angeles), and the Wonder Woman Initiative, among others.

The 2023 Cultured Focus Magazine Awards, the magazine’s yearly marquee event, further facilitated Lynn’s aim to celebrate artists and leaders from divergent backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives, fostering a sense of unity within the artistic community.

The New York event honored fashion icon Elie Tahari, who built a billion-dollar empire over his 50 years in the fashion industry. Tahari was honored with the Cultured Focus “Lifetime Achievement Award.” 

The 2024 Cultured Focus Magazine Awards were recently held in Miami, Florida, at the prestigious Kimpton Hotel Angler’s South Beach during Art Basel in collaboration with the Wonder Woman Initiative’s ‘Designed on Purpose: A Bespoke Art Basel Gala Experience.’ 

The 2024 Cultured Focus Magazine Awards were presented as follows:

• Cultured Focus Magazine’s Fashion Business Excellence Award was presented to Tayo Ishola
• Cultured Focus Magazine’s Cultural Impact Award was presented to Stichiz
• Cultured Focus Magazine’s Excellence in the Arts Award was presented to Christy Hayek
• Cultured Focus Magazine’s Leadership and Philanthropy Award was presented to Diana V. Gilbert

Standing Up for the Truth, Even When It Is Not Easy

With the rising climate of intolerance, Lynn feels it is more important than ever to advance her mission of promoting inclusion and celebrating diverse cultures. She works tirelessly across her creative ventures to advance these goals. Many of her projects deal with complex themes, which she selects due to her belief in the creator’s vision and how they align with her mission. Her steadfast commitment to inclusion draws her to projects that allow her to fulfill her ideas while sharing compelling stories and the work of dynamic, innovative artists.
