Haute Living And Maker’s Mark Celebrate Bam Adebayo At The Moore Miami

On January 18, Maker’s Mark in partnership with Haute Living and Haute Black honored NBA star Bam Adebayo and his mother, Marilyn Blount for their creation of a custom Maker’s Mark Private Selection bourbon entitled ‘Bam & Marilyn’s 1 of 1 Blend’ at The Moore in Miami.

The celebration highlighted the launch his custom blend “Bam & Marilyn’s 1 of 1,” which Bam and his mom Marilyn created as part of the brand’s Private Selection program, which allows individuals, retail and restaurant partners to purchase a barrel and explore their own taste visions of Maker’s Mark.

Hotchandani delivered a heartfelt speech celebrating Maker’s Mark’s artistry and its special partnership with Bam and Marilyn expressing “Hand-dipped in its iconic red-wax for over 70 years, Maker’s Mark is the handmade Kentucky bourbon – warm, inviting and perfectly balanced – it is the best bourbon to share with friends and family.”

Attendees were treated to both the Maker’s Mark Classic and the new Maker’s Mark Private Selection ‘Bam & Marilyn’s 1 of 1 Blend’ featuring bold notes of vanilla, baking spice, toasted coconut, and the light aroma of honeysuckle and clove.

The event drew a notable guest list, including couture designer and opera singer Radmilla Lolly, dermatologist Dr. Bertha Baum, Jason Humble of CEO of Humble Capital Group, John Utendahl, Global Vice Chairman of Bank of America, alongside Kamal Hotchandani, CEO of Haute Media Group, Seth Semilof, publisher and COO of Haute Media Group, April Donelson, Senior Vice President of Haute Media Group, and more.

Acclaimed artists Vic Garcia and Bradley Theodore presented Bam with custom artworks inspired by his special bond with Marilyn Blount. Their creations symbolized not only Bam’s accomplishments but also the strength and influence of his relationship with his mother.

Throughout the evening, guests savored Maker’s Mark-inspired cocktails, including the ‘Gold Rush’ infused with Maker’s Mark Bourbon, honey syrup, and lemon juice and ‘The Bam’ made with Bam and Marilyn’s Private Selection Maker’s Mark, fresh pineapple juice, lime juice, and mint. The curated dining experience complemented the bourbon offerings with dishes such as the citrus cured Hamachi, trout roe and cucumber vinaigrette and grilled prime strip steak with tomatillo-coconut purée, and aji chile glaze celebrating the flavors of the evening.
