New York City is the epicenter for ever-evolving fitness and wellness studios. Lately, the lifestyle scene has been leveling up with new boutique fitness classes making the move from Miami to Manhattan, celebrity-approved workouts, and holistic wellness spaces. We’ve visited the city’s latest studios to discover which are the hautest right now and worth checking out.
JETSET Pilates

Miami’s hottest workout class has made its way up north to the big apple. After garnering a cult following, the reformer pilates class, JETSET, has expanded its location and nestled into the city’s coveted SoHo neighborhood. Founded by Tamara Galinsky, JETSET focuses on combining the controlled movements of traditional Pilates with intentional choreography and seamless traditions on a reformer.
Soto Method

Celeb-beloved workout class Soto Method has officially opened its Tribeca flagship. The highly-coveted studio was founded by Hilary Hoffman, who, after having a decade-long career in finance, made the switch to fitness in hopes of developing a highly efficient workout for those pressed for time. The Soto Method focuses on a mix of cardio and sculpting movements, each designed to maximize burn and give you a full-body workout. SOTO stands for ‘sixty on, ten on.’ The class will work on each muscle group with a 60-second isometric hold and then work through a series of 10 dynamic movements.
Sage + Sound

Located in the Upper East Side, Sage + Sound is the ultimate wellness destination setting out to quiet the overwhelming noise of the city and creating a space that simplifies the act of discovery. Co-founders, Lacey Tisch and Lauren Zucker, wanted to create a home for others to cultivate their self-care routines and give access to the best brands, practitioners, and healers. Sage + Sounds offers curated programming and services like meditations, breathwork, experiential classes, workshops and more. The space is dedicated to fostering a community for people consciously looking to improve the quality of their lives.
Fuze House

Another South Florida native studio has made its way up North to the big apple and is taking the city by storm. Know for their infrared heated studios, Fuze House offers a variety of classes designed to nourish the mind, body and soul. They offer pilates and sculpt classes each guaranteed to leave you drenched in sweat by the end of it. The high energy yet mindful workout has already made a name for itself here in New York and has secured itself as a must-go.
Othership

Othership is New York’s newest self-care sanctuary and home of the country’s coldest cold plunge. Defining itself as a guided wellness experience, the club-like space offers a series of classes with a focus on breathwork, aroma therapy, visualizations, somatic movement, live music, and group shares. Each class is designed to restore energy, emotional connection, and/or relaxation. Indulge in one of their state-of-the-art saunas, a dip in the cold plunge with assistance from Othership’s guided coaches, or simply revel in the zen space and soak up some R&R.
Remedy Place

One of the world’s first social wellness clubs, Remedy Place is the latest space redefining how we do self-care and transforming how people socialize through holistic practices, cutting-edge self-care tech remedies, and group experiences. They’ve recently opened their second SoHo studio alongside their Flatiron club. Guests can elevate their date nights with an ice bath, breathwork class, or watch a movie while receiving a Vitamin IV in their meditation cinema. The experiential venue is designed to opt for a new and unique entertainment option similar to a bar or restaurant scene, but with an ample focus on social self-care.
