Haute Living Launches Haute Design With Formafantasma & Perrier-Jouët During Miami Design Week
On December 4, Perrier-Jouët partnered with Haute Design and Haute Living to host an exclusive evening of fine dining, innovative design, and sustainable artistry at Mirabella by Michael White at the oceanfront dining destination at the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Guests enjoyed exquisite French-Mediterranean cuisine in a chic, stylish setting while celebrating the December 2024 Haute Design cover stars Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin, founders of the acclaimed design studio Formafantasma.
The event welcomed notable attendees including Diplo, Jonathan Blue, Phil Goldfarb, Chief Operating Officer of Fontainebleau Development, Vanessa Conlin, Louis Birdman, and Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali, alongside key figures from Haute Media Group including CEO Kamal Hotchandani, Editor-in-Chief Laura Schreffler, Publisher and COO Seth Semilof, and Senior Vice President April Donelson.

The evening spotlighted Formafantasma’s groundbreaking project Cohabitare, an architectural installation that harmonizes art, design, and ecological preservation. This collaboration with Maison Perrier-Jouët underscores a shared commitment to sustainability and innovation. The Cohabitare installation showcases biomaterials and eco-design elements that foster a deep respect for nature, blending craftsmanship with cutting-edge science to create a vision of sustainable living. The venue featured design elements inspired by Cohabitare, including Lobmeyr glassware, ceramic bowls, and striking installations from the BioDiversity Island, reflecting the ethos of seamless ecosystems and creative sustainability.

The expertly curated menu was thoughtfully paired with Perrier-Jouët’s renowned cuvées, creating a seamless blend of culinary artistry and fine champagne. Guests began with a first course of Hiramasa crudo featuring prosciutto XO, finger limes, and pickled wild garlic, perfectly complemented by Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs Non-Vintage. The second course showcased striped bass with spicy lemon coconut sauce, roasted apples, and Brazilian bee pollen also paired with Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs Non-Vintage.

For the third course, guests indulged in heritage chicken glazed with burnt honey accompanied by roasted chicories, winter citrus, and parmesan Espuma, paired elegantly with Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Brut 2014. The grand finale was a decadent dessert of raspberry vacherin, Tahitian vanilla Chantilly, pistachio moelleux, and rhubarb compote, paired exquisitely with Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé. Throughout the evening, Natalie Duch, Perrier-Jouët’s brand ambassador, guided guests through the wine pairings and shared insights into the craftsmanship behind each cuvée. The experience culminated in an elegant champagne ritual, underscoring the artistry and heritage of Perrier-Jouët.
