A Work Of Art: Inside The New Fendi Boutique In The Miami Design District

The wait is officially over: the Fendi Boutique in Miami Design District has finally opened. Fendi has reopened its newly expanded boutique in Miami’s Design District, unveiling a space spanning over 6,700 square feet across two levels. Seamlessly blending the brand’s Roman heritage with Miami’s vibrant energy and iconic pastel palette, the boutique stands as a testament to Fendi’s dedication to design, craftsmanship, and innovation.

The boutique’s façade is a visual masterpiece, featuring four grand arches inspired by ancient Roman architecture, paying homage to Fendi’s roots. Custom three-dimensional glass bricks, designed to mimic ocean waves, create a dazzling effect that reflects the city’s lights at night. The exterior also includes a gallery lined with light pink tiles embossed with the FF logo, surrounded by lush tropical greenery and intimate lounge spaces, offering an outdoor experience infused with Miami’s dynamic spirit.

Upon entering, visitors are welcomed into a refined space dedicated to Women’s leathergoods and accessories. The flooring, made of Patagonia and Travertine marble, is inspired by the Roman marble patterns of the Temple of Venus, where Fendi’s 2019 Couture collection debuted. Hand-tufted carpets, with designs mimicking the path of Rome’s Tiber River, add a soft touch in Miami-inspired green and pink hues.

The first floor features bespoke furniture, including Jia Chairs by Atelier de Troupe, a Universe Round table by Arda Yeniay, and a Marula Chair by Akha, curated from Studio Twentyseven Gallery. Ribbed travertine walls with FF archive logo details, paired with silver and champagne metal accents, create an atmosphere of warmth and luxury. A standout display table by Roberto Sironi, crafted from Rima marble with upside-down arches, echoes Fendi’s Selleria handmade stitching, a hallmark of the brand since 1925.

Ascending the blond walnut staircase, guests arrive at a serene second floor that balances luxury with comfort. The Menswear collection is showcased in Patagonia marble and champagne metal displays, contrasted against ribbed travertine walls. Hand-tufted rugs in blue and green tones draw inspiration from the Miami skyline, while dedicated seating areas, including high-design pieces by Emmanuelle Simon and Arda Yeniay, enhance the space.

The Women’s area on the second floor features a stunning glass fusion glass wall with arches that mirror the boutique’s exterior, alongside display tables by FENDI Casa and living areas with furnishings by Alter Ego and Charlotte Biltgen.

A luxurious VIC area is adorned with gradient fringe curtains transitioning from pink to ivory, complemented by a stainless-steel wall and Fendi Casa furnishings. A custom-colored concrete art piece by Italian artist Edoardo Piermattei completes the space, offering an exclusive retreat for Fendi’s clients.
