The Golden Globes hosted its annual preview event at The Beverly Hilton Hotel this week, offering an exclusive first look at the culinary and design elements of “Hollywood’s Party of the Year.” So what does that look like?
The awards ceremony is once again joining forces with Nobu Restaurants and world-renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, the official Chef of the Golden Globes, to craft a unique culinary experience that redefines the traditional award show menu. This year’s menu features a selection of chef Nobu’s signature dishes, including Yellowtail Jalapeno, Caviar Taco, Sashimi Salad with Matsuhisa Dressing, Tai Matsuhisa Nigiri Brushed with Nikiri Soy, Salmon Nigiri Brushed with Nikiri Soy, Tuna Nigiri Brushed with Nikiri Soy, and Miso Black Cod.

For those who aren’t invited (aka most of us), Nobu-san has also created a special “The Gold Standard Roll” in collaboration with the Golden Globes, which is available at select Nobu locations, including Malibu, Los Angeles, and Matsuhisa Beverly Hills, until Sunday, January 5, 2025. The limited-edition roll features king crab wrapped in salmon, topped with gold flakes and caviar, and is served with yuzu sauce.
Moët & Chandon champagne will serve up its Moët Impérial Brut, as well as the Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial.

This year’s Golden Globes tablescape, curated in collaboration with premier florist A.L. BASA, celebrates the perfect harmony of contemporary elegance and timeless glamour. Key design elements include a color palette in a a minimalist blend of white, gold, black, and natural wood tones, reflecting modern sophistication. The table centerpieces are illuminated turntables featuring floral arrangements, premium Moët & Chandon bottles, edamame, and shishito peppers. The lighting doubles as a face light for seated guests on camera, creating an inviting glow and a touch of opulence. The tableware, meanwhile, is symmetrically arranged with white rectangular plates for a clean aesthetic, paired with minimalistic black side dishes and wooden sushi platters to complement Chef Nobu’s menu.
The table element is rounded out by seating elements of gold metallic chairs with intricate geometric patterns, which add a luxurious touch, framing the tablescape beautifully without overwhelming the overall design.
The 82nd Annual Golden Globes will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.
