Fashion Designer Adriana Degreas Releases New Fashion Film For New Collection, “Free Yourself”

Adriana Degreas is a Brazilian fashion designer known globally for her stunning luxury creations. As a leading beachwear brand, Degreas is known for her cool chic aesthetic, innovative cuts, unique fabrics, and for trailblazing “the new vintage,” a luxury look that gives high fashion a retro twist. She is the founder of The Bain Couture, which fuses together swimwear and couture to bring a sophisticated edge to resort wear with a Brazilian spirit.

Her latest fashion film showcases her new Spring/Summer 2025 collection. “Free Yourself,” as the film is called, was directed by Enrico Beer Boimond, an award-winning Italian film director. The film was shot in Sardinia, Italy, and honors our collective romantic and carefree spirit.

“This collection represents a celebration of women’s freedom and individuality,” said Degreas. “It’s about creating pieces that allow women to express themselves authentically, to move and live with a sense of ease and elegance.”

She explains how this new collection honors a woman’s own self-empowerment. “This line is a tribute to the inner strength and effortless chic that every woman possesses when she truly embraces her own essence,” said Degreas.

This new fashion film features a protagonist who embarks on a quest for liberation across the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. “It’s an affirmation of self-discovery and personal ownership of one’s story,” she adds.

More than anything, Degreas wanted to capture a sense of optimism through her latest collection. “With this film, I wanted to capture the spirit of feminine freedom, exploring how each piece moves and breathes with the woman who wears it,” said the designer.

“The film is a visual journey, portraying a sense of empowerment and grace that reflects the lightness, sophistication, and strength in every woman. Each scene showcases this freedom, allowing the collection to become part of her personal expression.”

This fashion film is inspired by modern architecture in Europe. It is presented alongside sequins, metallics, and chic, easy tones, as each design captures the serene beauty of sun and sea, embodying the quiet glamor of sun-soaked shores.

According to the director, this fashion film was shot in the south of Sardinia in a private house designed by the architect Massimiliano Fuksas.

“I wanted to capture the essence of freedom,” said Bomiond. “The narrative depicts a woman who learns how strong she can be by her own means through a summer journey. The words of the song we wrote resonate with this, a concept I think comes down to the very essence of the brand Adriana Degreas.”

The fashion film follows a woman who enjoys being alone, relishing in her independence. It’s called a personal “île privée” (private island) experience, a celebration of autonomy, beauty, and the art of living life to the fullest.

“This fashion film is an invitation for every woman to release herself from limitations and embrace her true, unapologetic self,” said Degreas.

“Each piece in this collection is designed to support that freedom, offering comfort, elegance, and individuality. I believe that every woman deserves to feel unrestricted and in harmony with who she is, and this collection allows her to do just that- reveal and express her genuine self.”
