Naveen Jain On Unlocking The Secret to Longevity With The Youth Formula
Entrepreneur Naveen Jain believes that helping people understand the way chronic diseases develop is the key to unlocking what he calls The Youth Formula. In his book, he asks a powerful question: “What if aging was a matter of the choices we make and not a matter of bad luck?”
Jain says that, according to the latest statistics on chronic disease, 74 percent of people will die earlier than we have to from avoidable diseases. While watching friends and families suffer and die when they became ill, Naveen Jain set out to determine what he could offer in terms of a solution. This is where The Youth Formula comes into play.
The Youth Formula
Naveen Jain is quick to point out that your DNA is not your destiny, and your genes are not a death sentence, even if you’ve had parents, grandparents, or siblings who suffered from a chronic disease or condition. He adds that it is not only possible to slow down the signs of aging but reverse it and even live a disease-free life.
However, Jain is well aware that living a disease-free life does not come without its hurdles. In The Youth Formula, he guides readers through several myths, which include the fact that not all foods are “universally healthy” and that a declining body is an inevitable part of aging, and no one can do anything about it. He states all of these are simply myths and that things can be done to remedy them.
Determining Nutrition
“Our biggest challenge was how [to] come up with hyper-precise nutrition that works for someone, and then the efficacy using real science, such that people take this precision nutrition, and they actually get better,” Jain said.
He adds that learning about the human body is the key to unlocking how food and nutrition impact not only the way you feel but also how you age.
“Discover what is happening before you put any food in your mouth,” he said, “and understand how it’s going to impact your body.”
Jain says that, by following the research he has conducted as part of writing this book, he has “more energy than he has ever had” and that “at 65, I look healthier, I look better, and I look younger for doing the things I think we need to do.”
Prioritizing Your Health
“If you care about your health, the “end-of-the-day” health is your route,” Jain says.
“When people are sick, they only have one wish. When people are healthy, they have many wishes,” he also says, and adds that you can’t be successful if you lose your health.
Jain gives us the courage to consider a world where aging is optional. His book gives us the science-backed plan to step into that new world.
