5th Annual Walk In Style For The Animals Raises Funds For Big Dog Ranch Rescue (BDRR)

Miami’s most fashionable animal lovers gathered at the Bal Harbour Shops on Sept. 25th, at the newly opened Carrie’s inside Neiman Marcus, to celebrate the 5th Annual Walk In Style For The Animals hosted by Angela Birdman. DJ Sepideh Amiri set the vibe while guests sipped champagne, enjoyed passed bites, and shopped this season’s must-have fashions, with a portion of sales going to benefit the Big Dog Ranch Rescue (BDRR), the largest cage-free, no-kill dog rescue in the United States.

“My passion has always been animals,” explains Birdman, who sits on the board of directors at BDRR.  “Animals do not have a voice, so we must be that voice.” Big Dog Ranch Rescue’s main campus spans thirty-three acres in Palm Beach. Since its inception in 2008, BDRR has saved over 70,000 animals and 6,500 animals this past year alone. “The need is overwhelming, and the support of the community makes our work possible,” Birdman said.
