Made For Miami: Inside The New Jimmy Choo Boutique In The Miami Design District
Jimmy Choo has officially opened its third boutique in Miami, a testament to its ever-evolving relationship with the city. Located in the heart of the Miami Design District (165 NE 41st Street), the new boutique is at the intersection of art, culture, and luxury, capturing the vibrant energy of Miami through the brand’s lens.
For Sandra Choi, the creative director of Jimmy Choo, integrating iconic Miami design elements was imperative. “Miami is a hyper-sensory feast — the vibrant colors, the high-octane energy, and the wealth of art and architecture. It was important that we reflected Miami’s unique identity in the store design.”
A design masterpiece, the boutique nods to Miami’s iconic Art Deco DNA, featuring curved architectural details with a three-story white plaster façade adorned with travertine accents, creating a visual statement from the outside in. Inside, guests are immediately immersed into Jimmy Choo’s Miami paradise, greeted by green fluted tiles on fixtures, lush tropical plants native to South Florida, and a luxurious backdrop of white oak floors and ceilings. The design reflects the dynamic culture and artistic essence inherent to Miami, further animated by custom furniture and decorative objects, including an elegant statement sofa by renowned designer Pierre Paulin.
The Miami Design District boutique will welcome an exclusive capsule collection featuring the Claressa platform, the Avenue Mini Shoulder, and the Cycas 95 Knee Boot in bright Miami colorways. The boutique will also offer a comprehensive range of women’s shoes and handbags alongside eyewear, small leather goods, soft accessories, fragrances, jewelry, and a curated selection of pieces from Jimmy Choo’s iconic Bridal collection.
For an even more intimate experience, this location will offer the brand’s coveted made-to-order service, inviting customers to craft their dream shoe or handbag. The service exemplifies Jimmy Choo’s blend of cutting-edge design and made-in-Italy craftsmanship, allowing customers to choose from a wide array of colors, textures, and finishes. The new Jimmy Choo Miami Design District boutique undoubtedly marks an exciting, new modern era for the brand and its expansion, redefining the retail experience in Miami and beyond.
