Louis Vuitton Dips Into The Archives With The New Remix Collection
Louis Vuitton’s latest collection, the LV Remix, marks a fashionable resurgence of its most cherished Monogram styles, revitalizing classics for a modern audience. This collection revisits two fan favorites – the Denim and Vernis lines, first introduced in the early 2000s. The LV Remix range spans a variety of leather goods, shoes, and accessories, and is brought to life through a digital campaign featuring notable Friends of the House: Phoebe Dynevor, Lous & the Yakuza, Shay Mitchell, and Nana Ouyang.
A highlight of the collection includes reimagined versions of the Croissant bag from 2002, available in two sizes and can be worn crossbody, on the shoulder, or in hand. The Twist and Capucines lines see exciting new additions like the elongated Capucines East-West and the Twist West, as well as the compact Twist Little, perfect for transitioning from day to night.
The shoe selection in Monogram Denim features the Nina Ballerina and Archlight slingback, along with the Helios Espadrille line which offers both wedge and flat sandals, and a classic espadrille design. The collection’s sneakers, like the Neo Run Away and Time Out, showcase either Monogram Denim or Monogram Vernis details in soft, pastel hues.
Accessories in the LV Remix collection are both playful and adaptable. The range includes a thin belt, a cap, a bucket hat, and the My Daily Denim shawl in a vintage jacquard finish, all in Monogram Denim. The LV Gram line extends to reversible Monogram belts and whimsical leather bracelets. Rounding off the collection are miniature versions of Louis Vuitton’s iconic bags, like the Noé and Speedy in Monogram Denim canvas, and the Micro Alma in vibrant patent leather colors. This collection not only pays homage to the brand’s legacy but also showcases its continuous innovation in the world of luxury fashion.
