The actress, who plays AFC Richmond boss Rebecca Welton on the hit Apple TV+ series, was surrounded by her cast members and friends at the event, which was held at Beverly Hills eatery The Hideaway — no mean feat given that the event simultaneously occurred during the Critics’ Choice Awards.

Waddingham, who looked lovely and powerhouse in a Christian Siriano dress (the same designer she wore on her Haute Living Los Angeles cover) as she arrived in a sleek, chic Lucid Air GT, was surrounded by her Ted Lasso crew, including fellow Emmy nominee Juno Temple, as well as Nick Mohammed, Cristo Fernandez, James Lance, Billy Harris, Kola Bokinni, Stephen Manas, and Moe Jeudy Lamour.

Other attendees included her 12 Monkeys castmates Emily Hampshire and Todd Stashwick, series show runner Terry Matalas, Hollywood’s top entertainment lawyer Keith Berglund, El Cristiano founder Karan Khanna, Shannon Hunt, the wife of Ted Lasso star Brendan Hunt, who was performing that evening, The Influence founder Ali Lasky, and Haute Media Group editor-in-chief Laura Schreffler and Senior Vice President April Irene Donelson.

As cast members arrived at once from the Critics’ Choice Awards and hugged and caught up — some whom haven’t seen one another for almost a year — Haute Media Group CEO Kamal Hotchandani kicked off the event by saying a few words celebrating Hannah and expressed his admiration for her work.

Prior to a dinner of items including tuna tartare, wagyu beef flautas, filet mignon, pescado zarandeado, and vegan chile relleno, among others, guests sipped on Ted Lasso-themed tequila cocktails courtesy of El Cristiano. These included The Spicy Lasso, a spicy margarita with muddled jalapeno; the XR Old-Fashioned with XR extra reposado, agave nectar, Angostura bitters, orange peel, and brandied cherry; and a tasting of El Cristiano black label extra añejo.

During the event, celebrity artist Johnathan Schultz presented Waddingham with a painting of flowers, made with his signature 23 carat gold. El Cristiano anejo tequila served with lime zest was then served with dessert, a flan. Although the Emmys were the next day, many cast members stayed after the dinner was over, chatting, catching up, and embracing that true familial spirit that Ted Lasso truly embraces.

We truly “believe” that it was a night for the books.
