YankeeKicks Inaugurates New NoHo Flagship With Performances By Fat Joe & Offset

YankeeKicks officially unveiled its latest outpost last night, solidifying its position as NYC’s largest sneaker store, with a celebration as grand as their #666Broadway space. The flagship marks the second retail location for the growing marketplace and consignment shop with 5,104 square feet filled with authenticated goodness from apparel to art, collectibles, and memorabilia.

The event commenced with a parade of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars (courtesy of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manhattan) lining Bond St., welcoming distinguished guests such as Rabbi Pinto and Mayor Eric Adams. Together, they initiated the festivities through a ceremonial menorah lighting and ribbon cutting. Bespoke Clase Azul Gold Tequila cocktails and Lallier bubbly flowed out of an impressive Nike ice sculpture amongst Venus et Fleur arrangements, while people took turns checking out rare styles in the hidden VIP room reserved for premium clients and sales.

Things got even more hype when sneakerheads and hip-hop legends Fat Joe and Offset turned up to turn up, with back-to-back surprise sets of their biggest hits. Behind the decks of DJ Arkitekt, the crowd sang along to New York icon Fat Joe’s classic bops, and Migos’ (and birthday boy) Offset rapped straight bangers, before getting iced out by the industry’s favorite jeweler and YankeeKicks collaborator, Avi Hiaeve of AviandCo.

The evening concluded with a live auction featuring a one-of-a-kind Jeff Staple x Johnnyskicks creation, a “Reverse Panda” Nike SB Dunk. This auction raised an impressive $30,000 for Memorial Sloan Kettering in the fight against childhood cancer, a cause deeply meaningful to YankeeKicks Founder and CEO, Yaniv Bar’s, family. Thank you to everyone who came out to make NoHo a bit more fresh.
