Kith Appoints Daniëlle Cathari As Creative Director While Opening New Women’s Flagship In SoHo

The luxury streetwear brand, Kith, has made significant announcements this month, including the appointment of Daniëlle Cathari as the new Creative Director of Kith Women and the inauguration of an exclusive women’s flagship store in Manhattan’s vibrant SoHo district. In her role overseeing the women’s division, Cathari will collaborate with CEO and Creative Director Ronnie Fieg and the Kith Women team to shape the brand’s upcoming ventures in collections, creativity, and collaborations, set to debut in late 2024.

Daniëlle Cathari, the first-ever winner of the VFiles Runway in 2017, has been running her eponymous label in Amsterdam since 2017, gaining acclaim for seasonal collections and high-profile collaborations with brands like Adidas Originals, Clarks, New Balance, and Woolrich. Her new endeavor marks a significant and exciting milestone in both her career and the brand’s growth.

Kith returns to its origins with the unveiling of its inaugural women-exclusive flagship store at 644 Broadway, the same location where the first Kith flagship opened in Manhattan in 2011. The store offers a selection of women’s in-house and multi-brand ready-to-wear apparel, accessories, and footwear. In partnership with the New York-based flower and plant shop, PlantShed, customers can also enjoy a unique in-store cafe and a charming greenery area. This lounge space serves light refreshments, and beverages, and offers custom floral arrangements for purchase.

The flagship is located in the historic landmark building that was previously the Manhattan Savings Institute Bank. The exterior maintains its original aesthetic with red sandstone and brick, with iron gates at the entrance. Fieg has designed the store with signature elements of the brand’s retail concept, adjusted with unique details that speak to its bespoke setting. The ambiance exudes modern elegance with its warm and calming aura, constructed with materials like Venetian Plaster, Travertine, and Rosa Aurora.

To celebrate the opening of the store, they launched the Kith Women Winter Monogram 2023 — an array of outerwear, shirting, pants, accessories, and more that highlight the seasonal Kith Monogram design. The collection is available for purchase at the new store, additional Kith shops, and online.
