Chef Roy Choi and writer/director/actor Jon Favreau have joined forces to launch The Chef Truck, now open at Park MGM. The Chef Truck brings to life the culinary friendship that began with the hit movie “Chef” and continued in the popular Netflix series “The Chef Show.” At this venue, fans can sink their teeth into the dishes they’ve long admired watching Choi and Favreau make together.

Located near the resort’s bustling casino floor, The Chef Truck dishes up signature items from the big screen, including the Cubano, a Grilled Cheese Sandwich and the famous Chocolate Lava Cake. New collaborations from Choi and Favreau are featured on the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, including an array of vegetarian options. Favreau also designed special dioramas for the venture that feature similar technology he uses in TV shows and movies.

The Chef Truck is Choi’s second concept in Las Vegas, joining Best Friend, which opened at Park MGM in December 2018 bringing the food truck icon’s remixed and remastered interpretation of Los Angeles to The Strip.

Added Favreau, “Opening a restaurant with Chef Roy Choi is something I’ve been hoping to do since we first worked together. Over the past decade we’ve collaborated on pop ups and now we have a permanent home where people can finally taste the food we’ve been cooking together.”
