Celine’s New Flagship Store In The Miami Design District Is A Masterpiece Of Timeless Elegance

The highly coveted Miami Design District has just welcomed an architectural marvel into its midst – Celine’s latest flagship store. Spanning over 380 square meters across two floors, this newly renovated boutique integrates the visionary architectural design concept conceived by Hedi Slimane, which has been celebrated and implemented worldwide since 2019.
The Celine flagship store in Miami is designed as a timeless and sophisticated space — skewing incredibly modern — creating a blend of natural and warmer materials. The juxtaposition of natural stones, such as grey travertine, Arabescato, Grigio Carnico, and Grande Antique marbles, with warmer elements like oak, brass, and antique gold mirrors, creates an ensemble that adds a refined and elegant touch to the overall twenty-first-century brutalist context.

The ground floor of the boutique is dedicated primarily to women’s leather goods and is presented alongside Celine’s fine jewelry, Maison, and haute parfumerie collections. The space is adorned with antique gold mirrors and accent lighting, creating an artful atmosphere in a city where art has become the focal point. At the center of the Maison Celine area, a marble “perfume organ” serves as the centerpiece, showcasing the brand’s commitment to detail. Ornate coffered ceilings are used strategically to accentuate specific areas of the boutique, adding a touch of grandeur.

Lounge areas within the boutique are composed of a blend of vintage and specifically designed furniture pieces by Slimane. Each piece of furniture is meticulously selected and placed to add a sculptural aspect and enhance the overall architecture of the space, inviting visitors to relax and immerse themselves in the world of Celine. As visitors ascend to the second floor via a staircase faceted with mirrors and accent lighting, they are treated to a unique visual experience. Here, the entire Celine Homme collection is displayed alongside women’s ready-to-wear. The Celine collections are showcased in glass and polished stainless-steel wall and floor showcases, with all elements of the boutique aligned with a Basaltina floor tile grid. The use of lava stone flooring throughout crafts a grounded and sophisticated sculpted interior.

In line with Celine’s commitment to art, the boutique features an extensive selection of contemporary art pieces as part of the Celine Art Project. Visitors can admire paintings by artists such as Simone Fattal, Maia Ruth Lee, and SoiL Thornton, as well as artworks by Elaine Cameron-Weir, Antonia Kuo, Eli Ping, Davina Semo, Marcelo Silveira, and Lucy Skaer. This art collection enhances the overall ambiance of the store, creating a space where fashion and art seamlessly coexist.
Exclusive products had expanded throughout the store with new handbag silhouette and ready-to-wear offerings, like the XX and XX.
Also, the Miami Design District is one of the only boutiques to carry the new Celine Beauté Le Rouge Celine lipstick, which launched this fall in October as well as other Celien Beauté objects.
Celine’s latest flagship store in Miami’s Design District is a true masterpiece of architectural and design excellence, evolving into an experience that beckons visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Celine, where fashion and art converge in perfect harmony.
