Today, the House of Gucci has unveiled its new, incredibly high-end boutique concept: the Gucci Salon. Celebrating the fantastical soul of Gucci and luxury, the Gucci Salon will be home to Gucci’s High-End collections, the House’s highest expressions of creativity, craftsmanship, and exclusivity. These intimate new destinations will carry an elevated selection of precious leather styles, High-End Valigeria travel items, High Jewelry & Watchmaking, High-End read-to-wear, exquisitely-crafted High-End accessories, and High-End Décor designs, among other one-of-a-kind pieces achieved through personalization and customization services.

The inaugural Gucci Salon has found its home in the heart of Hollywood, on the iconic street of Melrose Place. The Los Angeles Gucci Salon sets the stage for global Gucci Salons to follow — each destination fully tailored to the culture and atmosphere of where it sits — with indulgence in mind, of course. For the first-ever Gucci Salon, the décor and character echo Hollywood’s heritage while also introducing design concepts from the first Los Angeles Gucci boutique, which opened in 1968 on Rodeo Drive. Inside, the award-winning set and production designer and longtime Gucci collaborator Gideon Ponte has imagined and designed the boutique.

The design fuses the feeling of being in a private home with the joie de vivre of a vintage Hollywood movie set through luxurious fabrics and elevated finishes in refined ivory tones and crystal chandeliers, complemented by the rare Gucci High-End offerings throughout. Giving the nod to the glamour of old Hollywood, each fitting room displays the scenography of movie sets with legendary movie stars.

Perhaps the most luxurious aspect of the new Gucci Salon is its sense of intimacy. The space is operated under the discretion of clientele, invited by appointment only, in order to curate the ultimate experience for each guest. The destination is meant to be customized to each client; in fact, the name Salon is inspired by the eponymous intellectual gatherings that originated in Italy in the 16th century as places in which ideas were exchanged. Here, clients are invited to explore the ship with the highest level of service available within the Gucci client experience, creating bespoke Gucci items that are truly rare.
