Miami is where the party is at, especially during the annual Miami Music Week (MWW). With people from all corners of the world flocking to experience the electrifying Ultra Music Festival and hottest nightlife scenes, we at Haute Living couldn’t resist joining in on the fun!

To celebrate Miami Music Week and honor the legendary DJ, Black Coffee, who graced our cover, we collaborated with BottomLine Concepts and Haute Jets by Haute Living for a private dining experience at Villa Azur Miami Beach. The event brought together a wonderful group of people, all eager to celebrate the world-renowned artist and the magic of his music.

The evening kicked off with cocktails inspired by Black Coffee and his beats, like the spicy “Have Another One” Margarita, named after his 2007 album, a classic “Home Brewed” Espresso Martini, named after his 2009 album, and a “Soulistic Sunrise” Mule, named after his record label Soulistic Music.

Guests mingled and sipped their drinks before digging into the mouth-watering family-style menu, which included lobster arancini, oysters, burrata, artichoke hearts, and beef tartare for appetizers.

While enjoying the delicious hors d’oeuvres, Haute Media Group CEO Kamal Hotchandani took the mic to talk about Black Coffee’s legendary contributions to the music industry. Bottomline Concepts CEO, Josh Fox, spoke on behalf of the incredible partnerships, followed by the wise words of Black Coffee himself. David Comite then presented the custom gold art piece by Jonathan Schultz, a Nelson Mandela fingerprint, which holds a special significance for Black Coffee. As a proud South African, Black Coffee has been heavily impacted by Mandela, who is an iconic figure in South African history.

The delicious main course of whole roasted chicken and branzino, truffle ravioli, and asparagus polenta arrived after the wise words and beautiful speeches. Bringing the element of the party and good vibes, the bottle train of Telmont Champagne arrived with sparklers and a “Welcome Black Coffee” message on the epic Villa Azur sign.

And of course, what’s a party without dessert? The assorted dessert trays were the perfect end to an epic night. While some guests called it a night, others headed to Factory Town to catch Black Coffee’s unforgettable performance. In total making for an epic Miami night!
