Candice Swanepoel & Nicky Hilton Rothschild Attend UBeauty’s Launch Party

The day before the official start of New York Fashion Week, Tina Craig, best known as the BagSnob, brought her closest friends and supporters together for the launch of her new skincare line, UBeauty. “All my favorite girls are here!”, exclaimed Craig as Candice Swanepoel entered the sun-drench event space at The Standard Hotel in the East Village. Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Monse designers Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, Louise Roe, Brian Atwood, Prabal Gurung, and Jennifer Fisher were also among those who came to fete Tina Craig’s newest entrepreneurial endeavor.

Alongside butler-passed hors d’oeuvres and champagne, guests helped themselves to the first product to launch from the UBeauty skincare line, the Resurfacing Compound. At digital kiosks that lined the far end of the venue, attendees could walk up to a station and learn more about the research behind the $148 skincare product due to launch on Net-a-Porter this Fall.

With a near religious dedication to sun protection and her 13-step nightly skincare routine, Craig’s new beauty line is a natural next-step for the luxury handbag expert. Products from the new skincare line will be available beginning in October; however, each guest of the intimate affair received a gift bag that included the UBeauty Resurfacing Compound with a note from Tina Craig alongside a phone number stating “I’m not one to keep a secret, text me.”
