Kim Jones Collaborates With Daniel Arsham & RIMOWA At Paris Men’s Fashion Week Summer 2020 Show
Perfectly marrying the House’s heritage with the present, Kim Jones showcased his incredible Spring/Summer 2020 collection for Dior Men during Paris Men’s Fashion Week. Additionally, Jones continued his collaborative creativity by partnering with world-renowned artist Daniel Arsham and high-end luggage brand RIMOWA—also under the LVMH umbrella.
The models wore neutral tones and pops of colors like orange, blue and pink, with fluid shapes, as well as more structured tailoring, again, mirroring the union between past and present. In addition to Arsham’s prominent DIOR sculpture on the runway, guests were made to walk through a showroom he created as well, prior to entering the show itself. The showroom housed several pieces that are part of Arsham’s “Future Relics” collection, and was made as a reinterpretation of Christian Dior’s old office, fitted with an old telephone, clock and more. The space was certainly just as Instagram-worthy as Jones’ collection.

For his Summer 2020 line, Kim Jones also partnered with luxury luggage brand RIMOWA for an original capsule collection, which included a backpack, Champagne case, a hand case, a clutch and a cabin suitcase. RIMOWA’s signature aluminum finishes are just as prominent as the Dior Oblique motif on each of the pieces, which will surely sell out as soon as they hit stores.
Like all of Jones’ shows, there was no shortage of VIPs in attendance. This included Kate Moss with her daughter Lila Moss; J Balvin; Natalia Vodianova; Christina Ricci; Kelly Osbourne; Lily Allen; Miguel, and many more.
