The next time you need a gift for the women in your life, head to the new Gorjana boutique in Pacific Heights. It’s the perfect one-stop shop for pretty trinkets and stylish delicate jewels. “One of the first specialty boutiques we ever sold to, on our first California road trip, was Heidi Says, a pioneer on Fillmore,” Gorjana Reidel recently told Haute Living. “The street has always been a special part of our journey. It’s surreal to think that now, more than 15 years later, we have our boutique in the same neighborhood. The thing we love most about the neighborhood is that in some ways it’s changed over the years, with the addition of many new brands, but in other ways, it still feels exactly like it did when we first discovered it. So really the fact that it’s adapted but kept true to its roots is unique.

Reidel’s based in Laguna Beach and elements from the seaside community are in the new store. The clean and bright boutique has blush wood finishes, brass hardware details, live greenery, and shibori indigo fabrics. A custom crystal quartz chandelier is “a nod to our interest in gemstones,” Reidel explains. “Plus a custom tapestry reflective of the Laguna Beach coastline, via Lauren Williams, pays homage to our brand’s home.”

The current collection, which includes long chain necklaces, beaded bracelets, and hoop earrings in gold, rose gold, and silver, was also inspired by Laguna Beach. “We wanted to share the beauty of Laguna with others,” Reidel says. “We incorporated textural elements reminiscent of the sand and shore, colorful gemstones and turquoise with our signature golden finishes—which look great on sun-kissed skin!”

The pieces are meant for layering and look good when paired together. The boutique has a bespoke collection that’s only available in stores, and there is complimentary engraving. “This summer we are offering a Malachite dog tag necklace that we love, and a shell necklace that layers beautifully with our coin necklaces,” Reidel says of the Fillmore Street store’s exclusive items. Most pieces can be customized in the store, with a monogram or name, making it a great place to shop for gifts.

If picking out a new trinket isn’t reason enough to visit Gorjana, the team is planning special events meant to entice fans to stop by and get a new bracelet, ring, or necklace. “We host monthly events in-store so that our customers can experience our brand on a tangible level,” Reidel says. “We’ve hosted meditation sessions, crystal readings, flower crown making, and various sip and shops. We’re also extremely community oriented and passionate about giving back. We partner with local charities and volunteers and host shopping parties to help fundraise. We supply the food and champagne and donate a percentage of the proceeds back to the host charity.”

Gorjana is now open on Fillmore Street in between California and Pine.
