The San Francisco Film Festival is the longest-running cinema-centric festival in the U.S. It takes place this April 10 through 23. Kick things off at the opening event: a star-studded screening of Netflix’s new reboot of the Tales of the City at the Castro Theatre. For the next 12 days, a thrilling series of movies and magical parties follow.

One hundred of the world’s top chefs will descend on Pebble Beach Resorts for the 12th annual Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival April 11 to 14. Since it’s Pebble Beach’s 100th anniversary, the festival team is pulling out all the stops. Enjoy cuisine from Masaharu Morimoto, Francis Mallmann, Richard Blais, and Jeremiah Tower.

The Napa Valley Wine Train is throwing a festive lunch to celebrate Easter on April 21. Guests will journey through wine country in an exquisite old-fashioned train car while savoring a decadent multi-course meal.

Alongside the Clif Bar Cycling team, chef Chris Cosentino is hosting the third annual CampoVelo in Napa Valley, April 26 to 28. The three-day fundraiser combines cycling, wellness, cuisine, and libations. Think morning bike rides followed by winery luncheons, culinary demonstrations, tastings and more—culminating with a feast at Charles Krug Winery.

Experience the best of the Stag’s Leap American Viticultural Area (AVA) at its 30th-anniversary celebration April 26 to 28. Only 200 guests will be able to enjoy the wine extravaganza which includes a vintner-hosted library wine dinner, vineyard walks, and 30th-anniversary luncheon. Wineries in the AVA include Cliff Lede Vineyards, Clos Du Val, Odette Estate, and Pine Ridge Vineyards among others.

Chef buddies Rodney Wages of San Francisco’s Avery and Matthew Kammerer of Mendocino’s Harbor House Inn are joining forces to throw a special dinner that highlights the unique flavors of the Northern California coast. The 10-course meal takes place at Kammerer’s restaurant at the inn on April 27. Overnight packages include a morning foraging trip with the chefs.
