Haute Living Celebrates David Guetta Cover Launch At Matador Room

Haute Living took to the stunning Jean-Georges Vongerichten famed eatery, Matador Room at the Miami Beach EDITION, to celebrate its Las Vegas cover star, David Guetta. The world-renowned DJ was on the eve of an impressive three-night headlining spree for the highly-anticipated Miami Music Week as he relaxed on his last night off with friends and family for the intimate celebration.

However, the DJ is no stranger to working on a crazy schedule. In his exclusive cover story with Haute Living, he shared, “I’ve gotten to where I am through a little bit of talent and a lot of hard work, mostly . . . I found something that I really love, and because I love it so much, being able to work harder than other people. I have a big work ethic and a big relationship ethic, too.”

The latter is clear as Guetta arrived to the affair hand-in-hand with his beautiful girlfriend, Jess Ledon, and his closest friends to celebrate the eve of his Miami Music Week 2019 headlining appearances, as well as his Haute Living cover debut.

Matador Room played host to the intimate group of guests, which included Wynwood developer and Principal of Goldman Properties’ Joey Goldman; Investment Manager at Paris-based real estate company, Fulton, Jean Guilmoto of the luxurious Maison Golden; One Thousand Museum developer Louis Birdman with his philanthropic wife Angela; Ulysse Nardin President of Americas François-Xavier Hotier; renowned Dr. Jeff Baker; Missy Brody and daughter Candace; Haute Living CEO Kamal Hotchandani, Haute Living Editorial + Fashion Director Deyvanshi Masrani and many more.

Guests enjoyed a signature Belvedere cocktails, Perus wine and delectable dinner featuring some of Matador Room’s signature dishes including Spring Pea Guacamole; Tuna Tartare on Bibb Lettuce wraps; Maitake Mushrooms with Goat Cheese; the rich Black Truffle Pizza with Fontina Cheese; the fan-favorite Arroz con Pollo; and Roasted Florida Snapper. The dinner ended with a sweet selection of some of the restaurant’s favorite desserts like the pavlova and chocolate lava cake.

Acclaimed artist Bradley Theodore and Haute Living presented a special painting to Guetta to congratulate him on his cover launch, as well as his two album launches with 7 (under Guetta’s name), and Jack Back (Guetta’s newly-revealed secret producers’ name).

Haute Living CEO Kamal Hotchandani ended the evening by raising his glass to Guetta and toasting him with a heartfelt speech. “We always like to celebrate success at Haute Living. David, thank you for everything you’ve done and paving the way for so many people. And from what we’ve seen, your impact has been equally as big outside the music world—thank you for your philanthropy and everything you do for the culture.”

And with clinking glasses and a round of applause, the night came to a very happy close as Guetta departed to prepare for the rest of his exciting week ahead.
