Dior Circus Comes To Dubai With Spring/Summer 2019 Collection

Inspired by Christian Dior’s love of the Cirque d’Hiver—or the Winter Circus—Dior brought the Dior Circus to Dubai, showcasing Maria Grazia Chiuri‘s Spring/Summer 2019 Haute Couture collection, first shown in Paris earlier this year. The circus theme is one that has reprised for the luxury French fashion house over the years, each time becoming more and more fabulous than ever.

Mirroring some of the most traditional circus characters like lion tamers, clowns and acrobats, as well as imagery from various circuses around the world, the collection featured a full spectrum of color on embroidered skirts, tapered trousers, sheer shirts, structured corsets, tamer’s jackets, and several other pieces and silhouettes, one more eye-catching than the next. Materials and embellishments varied from strong to delicate and everything in between, all coming together in a gorgeous collection, which also featured 15 exclusive looks unique to Dubai.
