One Thousand Museum Residences is one of Miami’s most historic, architecturally significant and most luxurious developments in all of Miami. As the last project that the late dame Zaha Hadid touched, the launch of this project is highly-anticipated and comes with it no shortage of enviable elements—most particularly, its covetable, five-star amenities.

Part of these amenities includes the gorgeous Sky Lounge, a triple-height venue complete with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Biscayne Bay. Here, residents will be able to dine and drink on exquisite culinary offerings curated by Mame Sow, the project’s Director of Culinary.

Sow is a graduate of New York’s French Culinary Institute and has worked under some of the industry’s premier chefs, including Norman Van Aken of Miami’s Three. Most notably, she’s created a name for herself as an extraordinary pastry chef, but Sow masters all areas of the kitchen with expert craft and creativity.

Haute Living was lucky enough to get a sneak-peek of what’s to come at the exclusive Sky Lounge. The tasting started with a refreshing cucumber gazpacho and bib lettuce salad; and then transitioned to a rich butternut squash soup topped with caviar; a decadent foie gras torchon; a charcuterie and cheese platter with spiced red pepper jelly and pickled vegetables. For dessert, guests enjoyed her signature Congo Bar Brownies, as well as a key lime plate a choix and homemade lemon scones. The meal was perfectly paired with wines and Champagnes by a seasoned sommelier to complement each bite.

As the building’s new Director of Culinary, she will plan and prepare seasonal menus to be served a few nights each week in the tower’s Sky Lounge for residents only—serving as Miami’s most exclusive reservation. The building’s culinary program will also include a fresh juice bar near the gym as well as a daily breakfast in the lobby.
