LOLA by Alyssa Simone was founded in 2014, although Alyssa’s passion for the arts dates back to her childhood when her mom first signed her up for dance lessons at age 4. Amidst the chic event, Simone takes a minute to reflect on the influence the women in her life, both her mother and grandmother, have played in her journey as a creative.
“The inspiration behind [my handbag line] are my mother and grandmother,” Simone says. “LOLA stands for living out loud always and Lola [my grandmother] has instilled that in all of us by being the matriarch and vessel in our family.”

The collaboration has been in the works between both Simone and Britto for over two years, as they first sat down to discuss the idea in late 2016. The trendsetting and chic collection includes a variety of colors from bright yellows and blues to blacks and golds. Each purse is unique in its own way, with hints of both Britto and Simone’s artful touches on each.
