The 2019 Pegasus World Cup Invitational brought out A-listers and celebrities for a day of racing, betting, dining and drinking on some of Miami’s most renowned offerings. Despite the rain, Gulfstream Park was packed to the brim with race-goers dressed to impress for the highly-anticipated affair.
Taking home the grand prize was this year’s winner, City of Light, leaving the day with the impressive $4 million Pegasus World Cup winner’s purse. After a close battle, City of Light pulled through as the winner, upsetting competitor Accelerate in the final race—marking City of Light’s Second win against Accelerate.

Amidst all the action of the racing, boldface names took to the LIV Stretch Village, where Groot Hospitality offered a true VIP experience with dining and drinking options curated by the hospitality group’s hottest spots including Komodo, Swan + Bar Bevy and of course, an exciting performance after the race from Snoop Dogg and Mark Ronson that had the crowd going wild.
Celebs in attendance included Snoop Dogg, Mark Ronson, Bella Thorne, Dennis Rodman, social media star Amanda Cerny, Cedric Gervais, Adriana Gutierrez, Alec Monopoly and more. Groot Hospitality owner David Grutman was also in attendance with wife Isabela Rangel Grutman, as well as Stronach Group‘s Belinda Stronach and many more.

After Pegasus, the group took to globally-acclaimed nightclub LIV, which served as the official after party for the Pegasus World Cup. Mark Ronson took over the DJ decks with a lively performance, with Bella Thorne closeby partying the night away.
