The legendary Miami art mecca, Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), will be celebrating its 35 Anniversary in a very special way this year. Known as one of the greatest cultural institutions in the city, PAMM has become famous for putting works of diverse artists of varying backgrounds and thought-provoking exhibits on display. Additionally, the museum has amassed an impressive collection of gifts throughout the years, comprising an astounding collection of works of art.
To celebrate the 35th year of PAMM, the museum has created The Gift of Art: Permanent Collection exhibition, which includes 60 works that represent a diverse collection of artworks that have been gifted to the museum over the years. The pieces have all been methodically chosen to represent a lasting manifestation of PAMM’s dedication to preserving and sharing the gift of art with future generations—under the belief that art is a special language, human gift and one that should be valued and shared.
