Delano South Beach Hosts Exclusive Olive Oils From Spain Miami Launch Event
The Olive Oils from Spain Global Tour has landed in Miami at none other than the iconic Delano Hotel in South Beach to celebrate the occasion. The promotional brand of the Spanish Olive Oil Interprofessional, in collaboration with the European Union, hosted an exclusive soiree at the hotel’s Beach Club for an evening of exotic, Spanish Olive Oil-influenced cuisine and libations.

Guests were invited to join award-winning chef, author and health & wellness expert, Seamus Mullen, to kick off the second stop of the global tour in Miami. The tour is the brand’s three-year marketing campaign to introduce international travelers and cooking enthusiasts to the brand and adopt the healthy Mediterranean diet and lifestyle—and there’s no better ingredient to truly taste it than with Spanish olive oil.
Invitees got to try unique dishes highlighted by Spanish Olive Oil and created by Chef Seamus throughout the evening and pair the flavorful bites with creative olive oil-infused cocktails crafted by the award-winning bar team from Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Co. Cocktails included a tequila-based olive oil margarita that highlighted the light Mediterranean bites perfectly with a sweet zest, as well as a refreshing sherry & olive oil cocktail in addition to a wonderful selection of Spanish wines.
After a demonstration from the guests of honor on how to enhance your culinary creations with olive oil and learning about the versatility, health benefits and gastronomic pleasures of the ingredient, the group took an olive-oil based shot to toast the spectacular evening.

As part of the Miami launch, Olive Oils from Spain is partnering with Miami International Airport to launch a month-long pop-up olive oil lounge in the airport inside the North Terminal. Travelers will have the opportunity to taste the best olive oils in the world with their express tastings and unwind in the lounge’s relaxation area, which is also equipped with a kids’ space, WiFi hotspots and more. The lounge will remain open in the airport from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. from September 28th, 2018-October 25th, 2018.
“Given the city’s rich cultural diversity and the exciting position the city holds as one of the nation’s finest culinary headquarters, it was only natural that our next campaign stop on the Olive Oil World Tour would be Miami,” says Teresa Perez, manager of the Interprofessional of Spanish Olive Oil. “In the first half of 2018, Florida has welcomed more than 65 million tourists from all across the globe. Here in Miami, we are achieving a global impact that extends far beyond the city and the United States. We must not forget that we Spaniards have a very special bond with this wonderful place.”
