Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Fall/Winter 2018 Lingerie Show At NYFW Is Jaw-Dropping

When news first hit that superstar singer and fashion icon Rihanna was going to create a lingerie line this year, we immediately knew it wouldn’t be for the faint of heart. For the Savage X Fenty Fall/Winter 2018 fashion show during New York Fashion Week at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in Brooklyn, the Barbadian beauty pulled out all the stops.

Unlike most shows during NYFW, Rihanna’s showcased women of all sizes, ethnicities, backgrounds and walks of life. She even showed sexy maternity pieces on the runway. The theme of the show seemed out of this world…literally…marrying equal parts alien to jungle, matchingthe tropical aesthetic of the collection. Models contorted their bodies, played in a glowing pool and boldly walked down the catwalk with purpose. Sisters and supermodels Bella and Gigi Hadid also walked the show, as did Joan Smalls.
