Louis Vuitton Launches New Wave Handbag Collection

One of the most highly coveted handbags to own is a Louis Vuitton—an the famed French fashion house has done it again. This time, its aptly named New Wave collection airs more on the youthful and whimsical side, inspired by the New Wave musical genre from the 1980s.

The bag takes a traditional and recognizable quilting pattern and marries it with the eye-catching Louis Vuitton signature to the city-friendly bag. The collection has two different style options. The first is the Chain Bag in MM and PM, and the second is the Chain Tote.

Offered in five color ways—Noir, Ecarlate, Smoothie Pink, Malibu Green and Snow—the collection ranges in price from $835 to $2,680 for the Chain Tote. The fall will bring new colors to the collection, including Freesia and Emerald, Denim, Yellow and Noir, all with patches and badges, as well as a jaguar motif.
