The Hot Spots Of Miami Swim Week 2018—Where To Cool Down During All The Action

Miami’s steamiest week of summer is officially upon us: Miami Swim Week. The highly-anticipated swim show brings in the greatest players from around the world to debut swim and resort collections on the runway, through trade shows and during highly-coveted pop-up events throughout the city. As expected, some of Miami’s hottest destinations are hosting can’t-miss parties and hangouts throughout the weekend. Here are the must-visit places for this year’s Swim Week:
W SOUTH BEACH
The iconic South Beach Hotel is the official hub of this year’s PARAISO by FUNKSHION swim festivities. PARAISO will take over the hotel for auxiliary shows, concerts and events. Some include the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search and runway show, Equinox pop-up classes and after parties, beauty treatment pop-ups and so much more.
1 HOTEL SOUTH BEACH

The swanky 1 Hotel located right next to the W South Beach is also a prime destination for Swim Week. It will serve as hub for many beauty pop-ups like SOLUNA SWIM Spa Suite where they’ll be offering glam, hair and massages; Seafolly Spring & Summer Collection Previews; a Bollare Beauty Hub from July 13th-15th; and a pop-up by Australian luxury beach brand, The Beach People.
PLYMOUTH MIAMI BEACH

The Plymouth Miami Beach is set to be the go-to hotspot for all things Miami Swim Week. Starting Monday, July 9th, The Plymouth will transform into the FUNKSHION Model Casting House. Conveniently located in the heart of South Beach off of Collins Park and 21st Street, the property will be the location for top model castings, fittings and parties. During swim week, The Plymouth will also play host to brands including Two Piece Mafia, iShine 365 Gigi C, Acacia, Monica Hansen, Monday Swim and many more.
**All Swim Week events are invite only. Guests who are staying at The Plymouth during Miami Swim Week will have access to the events. Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar and Grill and the lobby bar will continue to operate as usual and will be open to the public.**
FAENA DISTRICT
Replacing the former Museum of Ice Cream will be the Coterie Pop-up, transforming the three-story bazaar into an immersive, instagrammable shopping experience with luxury designers, ready-to-wear resort, beauty and home goods of over 30 brands from around the world including Caroline K, LoveSHACKfacy, Place Nationale, Jacquie Aiche, Chromat, Rosa Cha, Mes Demoselle, Camilla, Suboo, MIKOH and more from July 11th-18th.
Additionally, the Daily Front Row will be hosting a fête in honor fo the Coterie Pop-up honoring Miami’s most fashionable women at the Faena Hotel on Friday evening.
DELANO HOTEL
The Delano will serve as the official hotel for the Wildfox takeover, where they’ll be hosting Wildfox at Night—a late night party with Wildfox at Doheny Room—Wildfox Pool Party at the Delano Beach Club + Sbe and Wildfox x Treats at Night at Doheny Room. Additionally, they’ll be showing the Bikini.com x Newmark Runway Show in the iconic Delano Lobby with an after party at Doheny Room.
