The esteemed Cipriani name has become synonymous with world-class hospitality throughout the globe for years, from the inception of the first Harry’s Bar in Venice in 1931 to now housing establishments in the world’s most prominent destinations. Most recently, the fourth-generation Cipriani brothers, Ignazio and Maggio Cipriani, have taken the name to new heights as they’ve opened the brand’s first boutique hotels entitled Mr. C.
The first of the new sector of the brand was Mr. C Beverly Hills—a member of the prestigious Leading Hotels of the World. The second appeared in New York, and finally, Mr. C is making its entrance in the Magic City as it’s set to debut in Miami’s historic Coconut Grove neighborhood in Winter 2018.

Mr. C Coconut Grove will be located in a prime destination at 2988 McFarlane Road, featuring breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and the Coconut Grove skyline. The hotel will feature a rooftop area, Bellini Restaurant and Bar, which will provide guests with the prestigious European service that the brand has become famous for—also serving its signature, world-renowned bellinis. The restaurant will feature 107 of both indoor and outdoor areas with panoramic views of the city. And the cuisine will equally shine, serving up mouth-watering, authentic Italian dishes like Mozzarella in Carrozza, Tagliatelle con Zafferano e Pancetta, Spaghetti con i Ricci, Grigliata Mista di Pesce and the famous Mr. C Club Sandwich and more.
The new property is developed and owned by Main Highway Partners, an integrated development firm focused on creating sustainable, community-oriented projects to enhance neighborhoods. Mr. C Coconut Grove will be the brand’s first Florida property, joining sister properties Mr. C Beverly Hills in Los Angeles and Mr. C Seaport in New York City.
As with all Cipriani properties, Mr. C Coconut Grove will infuse old-world sophistication, taking inspiration from Italy’s iconic coastal style in a glamorous and elegant setting. Like its Miami dining counterpart, Cipriani Downtown, the lobby interior will hint at aesthetic elements of a classic yacht, boasting high gloss timber paneling, high ceilings, Murano glass chandeliers and large-scale terrazzo flooring. Also like Cipriani Downtown, the color scheme will take from the sea, with airy blue, white and pink fabrics completing the space with comfortable sofas and armchairs.

The luxury boutique hotel will feature 100 guestrooms and suites that include private outdoor terraces, teak paneled foyers, beautiful detailing and high-tech amenities inside the rooms like 24-hour in-room dining service, complimentary internet access, PressReader application, Samsung 55-inch 4K HDTV and Salto door lock system featuring keyless entry.
Additionally, the hotel will offer an upscale ballroom area for corporate meetings and social events, located on the top floor of the hotel, accommodating up to 150 seated guests and 300 cocktail guests. Other hotel amenities include a state-of-the-art gym, personal training, yoga classes, an outdoor garden, rooftop pool, private cabanas and pool bar, private spa suite and so much more.
