Spring Has Officially Arrived At Arlo NoMad

It’s finally starting to feel like spring in New York City and city dwellers could not be more ready for it. In the spirit of warmer temperatures, starting this week and lasting through summer, Chef Dale Talde and his team will be operating Spicoli’s Clam Bar and Tiki Hut on the second floor of the Arlo NoMad hotel.

An ode to Jeff Spicoli, the fictional SoCal beach bum played by Sean Penn in the iconic Fast Times at Ridgemont High, ​Spicoli’s Clam Bar and Tiki Hut will offer guests beach-themed snacks, tiki cocktails, and a selection of beer and wine.

In addition to a destination, Spicoli’s will serve as a waiting space for guests heading up to neighborhood hotspot and hotel rooftop bar ​The Heights, back for its second summer offering guests New York-themed cocktails, frosé, and the city’s best view of the Empire State Building.

Downstairs in the hotel lobby, Dale’s ice C.R.E.A.M. SHOP (named after the popular 90’s hip hop song by Wu-Tang Clan) will sell cool-down treats such as ice cream sandwiches and scoops courtesy of Oddfellows and rotating shaved ice sundaes starting with ​Tiramisu ​and ​Strawberry Shortcake​.
