Hublot Shoot Around And Meet & Greet With Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade
It’s not everyday that an opportunity arises to play basketball with one of the league’s greatest of all time, Miami Heat‘s very own Dwyane Wade. But for some Hublot watch collectors, and for Haute Living, they had the pleasure of doing so with the Hublot brand ambassador, at the American Airlines Arena in Miami after watching the basketball game against Oklahoma City Thunder, led by Carmelo Anthony, Paul George and Russell Westbrook.
Guests enjoyed the Hublot setup at halftime in famed Hyde Lounge, where they were served small bites, cocktails and Champagne in the upbeat environment. Following the game, they had an entertaining session of shooting free throws on the basketball court with the NBA All-Star, after which, VIP guests were exclusively invited to a backstage “pop-up locker room.” There, Hublot had personalized each guest’s “locker” with their name and a Dwyane Wade jersey, signed by the legend himself.
“It’s truly an honor to be a part of this family and this brand,” began Wade. “My son still talks about going to Switzerland and all the things we did when we came out there, to go out to the Hublot factory and see the process. It was a really memorable experience for us.”
In attendance was Jean-François Sberro, President of Hublot America, who congratulated Wade on all his success and wished him well for the remainder of the season. “We’re going to give you the best of support so you can go as far as possible.”
After the speeches concluded, the small group had a rare opportunity to take photos and chat with Wade over sips of Champagne and petit fours. Wade graciously posed and spoke with each guest, alongside his three NBA Champion trophies.
