Ferretti Group’s New, Luxury-Imbued Motor Yacht, The Navetta 33, Dazzles At Palm Beach International Boa...
Celebrating its thirty-third season, the Palm Beach International Boat Show has always captured the elegance and adventurous pull of yachting life. This year’s four-day event showcased a floating fleet of best-in-shows, from bow riders to superyachts, but one ultra-custom yacht seemed to stand decks above the rest—the Custom Line Navetta 33.
Named for a class of bluewater cruising yachts, the Ferretti Group‘s newest, tri-deck motor yacht stole the spotlight with its sleek, modern design, custom craftsmanship, and cutting-edge technology. Since premiering in Ibiza last year, the Navetta 33 has garnered praise wherever it sails, like the international boat shows in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Recently, it won “Best Interior Design: Motor Yachts below 399GT” at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards.

Guests drank in cerulean Intracoastal views and grazed on a lavish spread of prawns with creamy grits, shakshuka with lamb and falafel, and delicate pastries prepared by Costa Palm Beach’s executive chef David Valencia.
With four decks, interior and plein air dining areas, intimate lounge settings dressed with B&B Italia furnishings, a study, a galley with Florim ceramic flooring, and a sundeck with a Teuco tub, it’s easy to get lost, almost.
Situated on the main deck and accessible through the study, the master suite’s design elements include a leather headboard by Poltrona Frau, a mounted flat screen television, a Marlon Poliform chair, a walk-in closet, and an ensuite bathroom with Jerusalem marble.
Four guest cabins line the lower deck and feature custom natural black walnut walls, velvety Jacaranda carpeting, and Pratesi linens. Bathrooms boast glassed-in showers and marble throughout. There are sleeping quarters for the crew and a laundry room.
The yacht comes equipped with a galley kitchen, sound-dampening equipment to quiet ambient sound, and a patented dual-mode transom in the rear that serves as a float-in garage and submersible swim platform.
Twin MAN engines providing 1,400 MHP come standard but can be upgraded to twin MAN engines with 1,650 MHP or twin CAT C32 with 1,622 MHP. Normal cruising speeds range between 12 and 13 knots and top speeds run between 15 and 16 knots, depending on the engine assembly.
The latter will get you to the Bahamas in less than three hours, and perfectly in time for cocktail hour and that melting sherbert sunset. Now that’s what we call living.
