Ayesha Curry Reveals Details Of Her Nausea-Ridden Pregnancy
The wife of basketball star Steph Curry, Ayesha, has the same sickness that Kate Middleton suffered during her pregnancies, hyperemesis.
Earlier this month Ayesha Curry announced her third pregnancy on Instagram. Now the culinary personality and restauranteur has opened up about the difficulties she is facing while in her fourth month of pregnancy. On GoInspo, her lifestyle community website, Curry shared that she is suffering from hyperemesis. “I️ have what docs call Hyperemesis. This basically means the nausea, incessant sickness and exhaustion probably won’t go away,” Curry writes. “The only silver linings here are that my itty bitty baby is healthy and Princess Kate has suffered from the same condition during her pregnancies. Not feeling super royal though.”
Curry opened her international barbecue restaurant International Smoke last November and she hasn’t been able to do much cooking due to the sickness. In a moment of raw and candid emotion, Curry says “This all has got me in a funk that I️ can’t seem to shake. I️ don’t want to say I’m depressed because I️ take mental health very seriously but I️ am truly very very sad.” She asks her readers for tips on relieving back pain and getting rid of pregnancy dark spots.
Curry also says that her faith and loving family are helping her through the difficult times stating that her two daughter, Rylie (5) and Ryan (2) are extremely excited to become big sisters. “My husband has been an absolute angel for me. I️ just love him and I️ feel so lucky to be creating a new life with him and growing our family for a third time.”
